OmniDisk ("we," "our," or "us") provides a disk space visualization application ("App") designed to help you analyze and manage your Android device storage. Your privacy is important to us, and this Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

1. Information We Collect

• Storage Access: The App requires permission to read your device storage in order to scan and analyze files, folders, and app data. This information is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
• App Information: The App reads installed application information (package names, sizes, and storage breakdown) to provide per-app storage analysis. This data remains on your device.
• File Metadata: The App reads file and folder metadata including names, sizes, types, paths, and modification dates to generate the storage visualization. No file contents are read or accessed.

2. How We Use Information

All storage analysis and visualization is performed locally on your device. We use the permissions solely to:

• Scan your device storage and display file/folder sizes
• Generate interactive treemap visualizations of storage usage
• Show per-app storage breakdowns (APK size, data, cache)
• Enable you to delete files you select (with confirmation)

3. Data Storage and Transmission

We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data, files, or storage information to external servers. OmniDisk is a fully offline application. All scanning, analysis, and visualization happens entirely on your device.

4. Third-Party Services

OmniDisk does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The App does not contain ads.

5. File Deletion

When you choose to delete files through the App, the deletion is performed directly on your device. Deleted files are moved to your system's trash/recycle bin if available, or permanently deleted if you confirm. We cannot recover files you delete.

6. Permissions

The App requires the following Android permissions:

• Storage/Files Access: Required to scan and analyze your device storage. Without this permission, the App cannot function.
• Package Information: Required to display per-app storage breakdowns.

You can revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings, though this will prevent the App from functioning.

7. Data Security

Since all data processing occurs locally on your device and no data is transmitted, your storage information is protected by your device's own security measures. We recommend keeping your device secure with a lock screen and up-to-date security patches.

8. Children's Privacy

OmniDisk does not knowingly collect any information from anyone. The App is a local storage analyzer that does not transmit data. It is suitable for users of all ages.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted in the App or on our website with a new effective date.
